Overview
For generations the life of the Tessari family has been dedicated to tending their vines in the Soave area, one of the oldest white wine-producing areas in Italy. The family has owned vineyards at the very heart of the “Soave Classico” area, around the small village of Fitta where the Suavia winery is located. In 1982 Giovanni Tessari and his wife Rosetta, aware of their land’s great potential for producing high quality wines, decided to stop selling their grapes to the local
cooperative winery and to bottle their own wine instead. They felt a strong bond with the area’s tradition and culture, so much so that they chose to call their winery after the ancient name of the town of Soave, namely Suavia. Today their daughters Meri, Valentina and Alessandra, run the estate.
Straw yellow with considerable intensity and brilliant highlights. This wine is creamy and elegant. It is characterized by freshness and aromas of citrus, herbs, and mineral. On the palate the wine is well-balanced and refreshing with a dry and persistent finish.
