Overview
Rochevine means ” the Wine Rock”. From the 17th century, vineyards were present on this terroir. After phylloxera attacks in the 1870’s, the vineyard wilted little bylittle until the1980’s. 1988: Saint Desirat winery decided to renovate this terroir : reassembly of stony walls, reconstructionof “chalets”andplantation of newvine stocks.
Pale yellow with green tints, brilliant, clear and fluid. The nose is intense with a dominant of passion fruit and peach. The attack is good and well balanced. Active and nervous wine with surprising fat and good mineral notes at the finish.
